Personality - The Social Butterfly ♥: Generally an outspoken individual, Kisuke holds a unique perspective on life that tends to be rather infectious to those he meets; this laid-back nature of his makes it nearly impossible to dislike him. In expressing his opinions he is rather neutral & can justify both sides of an issue, but usually wins friendships more than he tends to lose them despite his "standing-over-the-fence"; an aspect that holds over well with both peers & superiors alike considering it is usually benefical for all of them rather than just one side of the social spectrum.

On the other hand, it could be said that Urahara's 'panache' in fashion & character-wise make him rather charming, contributing to the ease in which he can mingle with others. I suppose it might be accounted for that his suave presentation (via clothing & mannerisms) also give him leverage in situations where negotiations are needed or to settle conflicts with.

This maturity appeals particularly to both genders, although if he expresses any interests in this it would not be apparent unless he really happens to wish to create a bit of a dramatic scene or feels compelled to influence others into doing something he thinks would improve their or his own interests. Meddling into someone else's affairs is just one of Urahara's past-times - something that he's quite good at really - albeit this cataclyst can at times tax the energies of his associates if he becomes too obsessed with offering his 'assistance' or some other passionate ordeal. As a principle, he tends to observe his handiwork after it has spread itself rather than do anything directly himself.

His countenance is rarely afflicted with anger, & his happy-go-lucky attitude seems to affect others differently. He can be eccentric & is usually never discreet in expression. Similarly, if he has a problem with someone ( a rarity, but this is used as an example) he'd tell them outright. Kisuke can be blunt in otherwords, but he's fairly polite towards everyone no matter their rank & is hardly ever rude unless he's under a mountain of pressure &/or is on bad terms with someone.

Urahara can be seen either hidden behind a fan or peering out from a green-stripped hat. The dark emerald robes he wears - along with the clogs & cane - are almost a civilianized version of his former position as a Taichou in Seireitei and as such can almost be seen as symbolism for the opposition in spirit that he's become. He still carries his Zanpakuto Benihime however, a hidden weapon disguised as a rather fashionable cane. The cane happens to have the ability to send spirits to the Afterlife; at least the ones that are free to do so (he can send Hollows, but only after they've been slain by a Shinigami's Soul Slayer).

Part-time Job: After classes (whenever he can fit it into his schedule; flexible for two or more days a week) Urahara can be found working in a small candy shop downtown (Yes, this is an allusion to his owning Urahara Shoten in the manga/anime ) as the manager there. His duties include shop-sitting when the owner isn't there, some cleaning, & dealing with customers (packaging their goods & all that good stuff). [Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays & the weekends.]

Magical Companion: Akomachi; named after the female kitsune that served the Lower Temple of Inari. In historical pictures Akomachi is depicted as having white fur, while her male counterpart is shown with black fur; much like the concept of Yin & Yang.

Consequently, she is a Celestial Kitsune - Celestial Kitsune (based off of a historical text that proclaim there are 13 elemental types of kitsune) are one of the most common of the 13 types, but they have the potential to be able to master all 13 of the elements if trained correctly[ Void,Wind, Fire, Earth, River, Ocean, Mountain, Forest, Thunder, Time, Sound, Heaven, Spirit ]. However, since these are not classified as elements persay, her training comes in stages.

For instance, Water would first be 'River' before it became 'Ocean' to signify the stages of her power. 'Fire' would probably progress to 'Inferno', and so on.

Akomachi does not consider herself to be a pet. She scorns being treated like one & prefers to be addressed as 'Miss Ako' rather than Akomachi. Her arrogance is largely due to the fact that Kisuke treats her with all reverence, attending to her every little desire as though she were human instead of his animal companion.

The only thing she considers to be worthwhile in this relationship between 'pet' & 'master' is the fact that she gets those wonderful little bubble baths with the scented soap, the manicures, & her choice of sustenance (sometimes she daringly eats off of Kisuke's plate when they're alone together, but he never reprimands her). She may be cuddly & cute, but don't piss her off. Otherwise she might shed on your carpet in revenge or even leave surprises that are none of the desirable kind. [If you anger her, she might bite your face off. ]

The two of them have a little bit of history together, thus as to the reason why he acts so affectionate towards her. Apparently, Akomachi stumbled across Kisuke when he was in a rather compromising position (he was nearly dead) & took pity on him by taking him back to her den. There, she nursed him back to health & he repaid her by taking her in later on after her home was destroyed by poachers.

Akomachi will first appear to be an average kitsune with silver-white fur & a single white (with a pink tipped )tail, but since kitsune are shape-shifters she has two other forms.

1) Kemono (Humanoid fox form): Here, she can stand on her hind legs straight like a human & she even wears a orange kimono. Her fur is tipped with pink (around the ears & her humanoid hands), but she has six tails. She has the face of a fox here still.

2) Kemonomimi (Human with animal traits): Akomachi's tails are much smaller, and can be hidden beneath a kimono. They are no longer white & pink-tipped, instead their color is more of a light blonde. She is distinctly female here, except for the kitsune ears that are present & the tail. Her eyes are a deep green, & here her costume seems to change according to her transformation. It is white with red lace & blue ribbon. She also carries two fans (both with the same pattern of green, blue, and white); this form is used usually for convenience purposes.

Strength: Captain. Likes to laze around but is stronger than he looks.
Agility: Lesser Captain/Captain. Complicated; sometimes he feels faster, other times he doesn't. Okay, okay, he fluctuates..That's a better way of saying it.
Vitality: Captain/Shinigami. Urahara can take definitely take a hit, but likes to give more than he gets if you know what I mean?
Magical Strength: Superior Captain. Tries desperately to conceal his powers down to a dull roar in the series so that he can continue hiding..Hints are made that his Bankai is quite powerful.
Energy Reserve: Captain. Fairly normal for a Shinigami Taichou. Knows his way around magic, however. Could easily improve if he wanted to.
